The Health Equalities Programme: COVID-19 Vaccinations THE SCIENCE launches with a series of sponsored podcast episodes on Spotify. The first episode launched on 9^th August 2022. Our findings highlighted that breaking down the barriers to vaccine uptake in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London, is only possible by understanding the thoughts and opinions of its citizens.

The Verbiage around Vaccinations

The verbiage used to introduce vaccinations to citizens plays an important role in how they are perceived by the public with Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy worsening due to a lack of accessible knowledge shared with the general public. The Health Equalities Programme podcast episodes are sponsored by the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea in conjunction with the Portobello Business Centre.

 

The Role of Health Practitioners

The conclusion of our findings is that health practitioners are encouraged to address this issue of vaccine hesitancy to promote uptake amongst key target groups who claim not to have the facts and figures backed by research and studies regarding fertility.
