“The total number of quantum technology start-ups now stands at 350.” The biggest investment deals in 2022 according to McKinsey reached up to $500 million, with “seven deals surpassing $100 million.” China’s total investment of $15.3 billion remains the highest globally.
According to data from Statista, The United States (36 percent), Canada (32 percent), and China (32 percent) are the leading countries in quantum computing adoption. Among the surveyed countries, Japan (24 percent) and India (16 percent) have the lowest shares of organisations in the early or more advanced stages of adopting quantum computing.
